By No Comments

Like clockwork, every Friday we present you with the best tech deals at your local electronics retailers.

What to know where the hottest tech deals are in your area?

That’s precisely what Sync does each and every week. We flip through the digital pages of Sympatico’s new Flyers portal to find you the most aggressively prices on top-notch gadgets and gear.

This week we look at a dSLR camera bundle and a sale on Xbox 360 with Kinect and some games, too.

Photo finish

If saving $100 on a digital Single Lens Reflex (dSLR) bundle sounds good to you, Vistek has a sale on the Nikon D5100 with AF-S 18-55mm VR and AF-S 55-300mm VR lenses, for $899.95 (Henry’s by comparison, has this same bundle for $949.99, and Vistek had it for $974.99 a week ago).

Nikon’s D5100 is equipped with a 16.2-megapixel CMOS sensor and complimented by an Expeed 2 processing engine for fast performance and a quick 11-point autofocus system. On the back of the camera is a 3-inch LCD that rotates 180 degrees (horizontally and vertically).

Along with 1080p video recording (at 24 or 30 frames per second), the D5100 has built-in modes include one for special effects.

With these two lenses – including the massive 55-300mm (5.5x telephoto zoom) lens – you can shoot in a variety of situations right from the get-go.

Play time

Get your game on this fall with a sale on an all-white Xbox 360 Kinect bundle, two games and three months of Xbox Live Gold service for just $249.99 (until September 27).

Available at The Source (web ID is 8002196), this 4GB video game console ships with a matching Kinect for Xbox 360, a peripheral that sits just above or below the television; once the camera, sensors and microphone capture your body in front of the television you can play games without needing a controller in your hand.

Included in the box you’ll find two popular Kinect titles: Kinect Sports and Kinect Adventures.
