(con't)

With certain laptop designs like the HP Envy or Beats line-up, HP will have a winner in their tablet. If anyone has used the Palm Pre before, the smoothness of it's WebOS animation and multi-tasking is amazing. A mobile phone that actually has the power to integrate ALL of your information such as contacts, calendars, map searches, emails, text-combos, etc. What more can you ask for. And it is quite compact as well. With nearly 2GB loss of space on the iPad with Operating info, I'm sure you will get more out of the WebOS. I would want to see them place a larger, forward-facing camera to produce two-way view. And with the ability to have an open-support web experience, they are going to be quite competitive in the market. Price won't be an issue... With other units like the EEE Slate or the Toshiba Tablet or the PlayBook, this will be non-comparable. I believe it will be a full entertainment unit, with minimal, but decent business use.

I can't wait to see what this can do. With it's similarity now to the iPad, It may just be my replacement for my iPad. (let's see what iPad2 has in-store)

Disclaimer: I am not affiliated in anyway with any of the above mentioned. I'm just a Techie who loves learning about new innovations out there! BTW, this is written on a BB Storm 1 and an Apple iPad. :-)

What a great move by HP. The vision to see forward in its acquisition of Palm will pay dividends. I believe that Apple will have much to deal with and more competitors will shudder with this powerful unit. With many of its collaborative features, I believe this product will be one of the most innovative tablets out there.

In my opinion, WebOS is one of the most brilliantly designed Mobile OS designed currently... Yes, even better than OS4
