Deal of the Day: Shure Pro Headphones for $35
I’m a fan of Shure products — including the comfortable, high-quality and noise-isolating earbuds I use with my iPhone — but Future Shop has a great deal on over-the-ear Shure headphones.
We’re always trying to save you, our valued Sync reader, a few bucks on quality products. And so we were pleasantly surprised to see this pair of Shure headphones on sale.
Future Shop has the Shure Professional Headphones (model # SRH240) on sale for $35 (regularly $70), or 50 percent off.
The site doesn’t say how long it’s on sale for, so get ‘em while they’re hot.
I tried these out a few months back at a Shure press event and recall the SRH240s had well-balanced highs, lows and mids; comfortable “cans” that cover the ear and reduce outside ambient noise; and an included adapter to switch from a 3.5mm stereo jack 9for laptops, iPods and smartphones) to a larger 6.35mm jack for AV receivers or recording studios.

Can I use these on aircraft?
Sorry, meaning instead of those headsets they give you on the plane to watch the movies or listen to their music
Hi Cliff,
I don’t know if it comes with an adaptor for airplanes, as many higher-end noise-cancelling headphones do, but I’m sure you can pick one up (on the cheap) that works with these.
Best,
Marc Saltzman
Well I guess the sale is over. Went to the link above, icon still shows $34.99 but when I click on it, it reverts to full price. Oh well.
Hey Cliff,
I called Future Shop and they said they’re honouring the price as it’s listed on the website for $34.99. But yes, if you click the link to buy it online it reverts back to the $69.99 price tag. Just checked the website and they still have it on sale for Canada Day weekend,
Marc
Awesome, Marc. Thanks and keep up the good work!
