YouTube turns 5, announces 2 billion video views a day

By No Comments

On the fifth anniversary of YouTube this week, the video sharing website announced it’s now attracting more than 2 billion video views a day. “That’s nearly double the prime-time audience of all three major U.S. television networks combined,” the YouTube team wrote on its blog (http://youtube-global.blogspot.com/). To commemorate the milestone, YouTube has launched a Five Year Channel and a video project called “My YouTube Story.” Check it out here.
