  It’s funny, so many analysts jump on the RIM vs. Apple war as though RIM is somehow going to end up with no market share if they don’t try to beat Apple at the iPhone game. I don’t buy that. Despite the fact that Apple has been able to create enormous buzz for the iPhone via the App Store, it hasn’t been winning the hearts of the enterprise market – which is where the BlackBerry remains king.
  I think if this new OS keeps Blackberry users from feeling that they are second-class smartphone citizens, it will keep RIM the favourite with the hard-core business audience. If they can grab a larger share of the consumer market too, then so much the better for them.

  Nice, a bit Apple-ish but being a power user of the BB Storm they have other things that they could vastly improve on such as Contacts. Supposedly, it is the same as Outlook, not so close but no cigar, also cannot view contacts in business card view. The file structure is the pits, Application memory because of the way BB stores update news items kills what little there is.

  Looking like an iPhone is not our ideal and iPhone cannot do the same tasks equally or as well. To be fair there is no perfect phone. I for purely selfish gain wish both RIM and Apple great successes.

  What I have often lamented about is that I like my Japanese friends (Japan) can purchase anything from a bottle of vending machine water to a car, pay mortgages and groceries, we cannot. One of my friends walks out of his house each day with his phone and identification, who needs a wallet?

  Second class citizens, proudly a Crackberry user, we are numero uno, si, RIM FOREVER!

  I love my BlackBerry Bold 9700, but there is a lot of room for improvement. I’ve found the software unstable, the browser is horrible and the app store is difficult to navigate (and with high prices for the apps, which are limited in number, compared to the App Store). RIM shouldn’t be too complacement because many companies are beginning to allow iPhones to be used in a corporate environment.

  I love my blackberry and I really have no complaints. I can’t understand the IPhone. It’s too big, looks more like it’s for a teenager. I feel more professional with a blackberry.

  Why does it take 90 minutes to download/sync a 1 GB avi video that is 2 hours playtime using video sync software v6.0.0.43 to BB 8330?
