Video: Hands-on with the enTourage eDGe
Out now in the U.S., and soon available in Canada, the enTourage eDGe is billed as the world’s first “dual book.” Here’s a quick look at the features of this e-book reader/tablet hybrid.
Here’s the official enTourage eDGe site for more info.

I was very excited about this product. It seemed to have exactly what I was looking for. I’m a student and wanted the ability to take notes and read texts, as well as the ability to do research on the web. But there’s always a catch. I can’t so far confirm it, but it seems android (the OS) does not play well with proxy servers. Most schools are using proxy servers so if you are a student it looks like you may be pooched. I’m hoping someone with a little more knowlege on this subject can verify or disprove this. It seems to be an oversite considering they are pushing it as a student friendly device.
This concept is so close to perfect, the price point is great, but leaves me with more questions than answers. I will wait for at least a second-generation iteration before considering a purchase. Add in some more great stuff, carrying five pounds all day is easy, yes I am a glutton for tech.
wow is amazing..
