Whistling or clapping should be just one option. You should also be able to log into a website and send a signal to your iphone and also be able to see it on a map. Perhaps, Apple should build this into the OS, and have the map locator on their website. My $30 cordless phone is much more advanced in this regard than the $700 apple product, LOL! Also, the phone is the perfect place to put door opening abilities. There should be an IR and wireless radio transmitter compatible with everything from garage door openers, TV remotes, to your front door.
