Chrome for Mac beta now has extensions, bookmark sync
Mac users can now enjoy marquee features previously available only on the PC version of Google’s Chrome Browser.
Sync has covered the Google Chrome Browser in recent weeks, but there’s always been a distinction in that coverage: certain features like extensions and bookmarks sync on the PC version of Chrome did not appear on the version for Mac.
Not anymore! Google has just released a beta version of Chrome for Mac that includes support for Chrome extensions and bookmark sync across multiple computers. Bookmark sync has been implemented in a way to make Mac users feel “completely at home”. Google calls the new program a “snappy, safe, and simple browsing experience on the Mac” that should put it on par with the features enjoyed by Windows users.
Chrome for Mac is available for download. The latest version will be able to take advantage of more than 2,000 Chrome extensions. Users should also be able to use most of the 40,000 Greasemonkey scripts stored on Userscripts.org, but there’s no guarantee that there will be compatibility. You can read our previous post highlighting some of the great Chrome extensions, but be sure to browse the massive extension library to locate even more ways to boost your browsing experience.

This is good news, I’m glad mac user will be able to use Google chrome with extensions!
