Techies, are you ready for CES?
It’s that time again, where tens of thousands descend on Las Vegas to catch a glimpse at tomorrow’s technology today. The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is upon us, and Sync will be there. What are YOU hoping to see unveiled at the show?
In case you’re not aware, the annual Consumer Electronics Show, or CES, is where most of the biggest tech toys make their debut — from the VCR and DVD to HDTV and PVRs.
Yours truly is making the trek to the City of Sin to see what tech toys will knock our collective socks off.
Early buzz suggests it’ll be 3DTV, the Google phone (”Nexus One”), connected cars, tablet-sized Android-powered devices, new electronic book readers and richer Internet content for televisions.
For a look at the Next Big Thing(s), keep your mouse locked onto Sync this week and next. I’ll be posting blogs and video blogs (”vlogs”) beginning Wednesday.
But what gadgets and gear are YOU most looking forward to? Any big announcements, products or trends you’re particularly excited about? Let me know in the comments section below so I can gauge what kinds of things to cover from the Las Vegas Convention Center.
