Intel unveils ‘WiDi,’ syncs PCs and TVs wirelessly
Last week, the world’s biggest chip maker demonstrated its new “WiDi” (”Wireless Display”) technology, allowing you to stream audio/video from your laptop to your TV over a WiFi connection. In this clip, you’ll see how supported 2010 laptops work with a device (like Netgear’s $99 Push2TV box), which is connected via HDMI to a television.

Great new feature from Intel for sure. But the question I have is: will they bring a product to market that will enable HDMI over WiFi for any source device? Other companies have tried (and failed) e.g. Belkin FlyWire, to market a solution like this at a reasonable price.
This would save me a ton of wiring hassles
