Awesome dictation app now offered at iTunes Canada
In case you missed my blog post from a few weeks back, I was (and still is) super stoked about Dragon Dictation, a free iPhone/iPod touch app from Nuance (the makers of Dragon NaturallySpeaking for PC). Well, I received a number of comments about it not being available to Canadians. It is now.
The friendly PR rep from Nuance wrote me today to confirm Dragon Dictation, a free application you can download from iTunes for your iPhone or iPod touch, is now available to Canadians.
As you’ll see in my informal video demo (below), after launching the program by tapping on the app, you simply speak into the iPhone and press Done when you’re, er, done (actually, the newly updated app can sense when you’re finished, too).
Within seconds you’ll see the words you spoke appear on the screen. Now you can save it, email it or text it.
If you want to read more about the app and its Canadian launch, here’s the link to the Nuance blog about it.
Try it, you’ll love it! This is especially cool for those who don’t like typing on the iPhone soft (virtual) keyboard.
