Write a techie haiku, win $50 ThinkGeek money
ThinkGeek will give you a $50 gift certificate if you manage to impress them with your techie haiku writing skills.
Win fifty dollars
To go towards ThinkGeek’s stuff
Suh-weet deal, I say!
That’s right, ThinkGeek (remember them?) have a contest going on where you can win $50 to go towards their store. What’s the deal?
1. Write a tech-related haiku. If you can’t remember what a haiku is, it’s a three lined poem where the first line contains 5 syllables, the second line has 7 syllables, and the third line has 5 syllables. Easy enough, right? In fact, why not get your kids to give it a try – you can turn your game night into a geeky haiku session, hello future beatniks!
2. Email your haiku to ThinkGeek. You can submit more than one haiku, but ThinkGeek requests that if you do so, put them all in one email to make it easier for them. Your haiku becomes the property of ThinkGeek. The contest is open to all Canadians and there is no age limit so you don’t need to steal the work of your 7 year old and pretend it’s yours. Here are the contest details.
3. Share your talent with us. Don’t leave us out of the loop! Okay, so this step isn’t mandatory to entering the contest, but we’d love it if you shared your haikus with us! Pretty please?
Here are a few haikus from past contest winners:
