I'm hoping to pick one up soon for use as a home-theatre PC.

As awesome as the PS3 is streaming with PS3 Media Server, it still lacks features like FF/RW through MKVs as well as full menu support of ripped DVDs.

Neat concept but the reviews seem to indicate more cons than pros. It would be nice to surf the web without a hard drive, OS on a chip, super fast RAM/ROM so downloading a virus or other mal-whatever is near impossible. Download whatever you want to a key with a strong antivirus, your good to go. With a few extra tweeks it could be a practicle and useful device.
