Video: What’s a ‘Nettop’? Introducing the Acer AspireRevo
It’s a cross between a netbook and a desktop, and this Acer Aspire Revo — designed to connect to your HDTV — works like a charm as a family room PC. This short video explains why.

Neat concept but the reviews seem to indicate more cons than pros. It would be nice to surf the web without a hard drive, OS on a chip, super fast RAM/ROM so downloading a virus or other mal-whatever is near impossible. Download whatever you want to a key with a strong antivirus, your good to go. With a few extra tweeks it could be a practicle and useful device.

I’m hoping to pick one up soon for use as a home-theatre PC.
As awesome as the PS3 is streaming with PS3 Media Server, it still lacks features like FF/RW through MKVs as well as full menu support of ripped DVDs.
