One caveat is that it shuts the charging off so that a device does not overheat.

It is still cool, but how practical, it is not as if one can truly recharge wirelessly. If the Powermat had a feasible ROI (Return on Investment) then perhaps, but electricity in Montréal is relatively inexpensive compared to other provinces. Show that it saves money, time and at what point are monies recouped, then I am on board for sure. Californians on</description>
