Looking at your Video, it appears that the Mat is run by a transformer which stays plugged in, where is the electricity saving?
Hi Karl,
To answer your question, the Powermat ony used one cord (to charge up to 3 gadgets) instead of you using 3 AC plugs.
Plus, when the gadgets have charged up fully it stops draining power to avoid consuming “vampire power.” This usually isn’t the case with standalone chargers.
Thirdly, the Powermat charges up devices faster than standalone chargers.
Hope that addresses your concern about power consumption and Powermat.
Best,
Marc Saltzman
Sorry “Carl,” not “Karl.”

hey, wireless power charging is a new and strange tech to me, with all the talk of radiation from laptops and cellphones, is the power mat 100% safe to use close to other tech like a computer or tv, and is it safe for use arround the human body.
