Shoot, Click, Resize, Send
Resize your photos for email & Internet in 4 clicks!
With everything from MP3 players to cellphones equipped with cameras, it’s easier than ever to take photos.
One of the great tools that didn’t make the transition to Windows Vista & 7 was “Image Resizer”. This exceedingly quick and simple PowerToy allowed you to resize photos in literally 4 clicks. (Other free Windows XP PowerToys include an advanced calculator, automated webcam timer, among others.)
With 10+ megapixel cameras, image sizes are getting larger and larger and despite the proliferation of high-speed Internet, most of the time, you don’t need to send full resolution photos (e.g. email, uploading to Flickr, Facebook, etc.)
Fortunately, a free 3rd-party program, aptly named “Image Resizer PowerToy Clone” has been created that works with Windows Vista & Windows 7 (both 32 & 64-bit).
