Game controller ornaments score holiday cheer

By Comment (1)

For all the gamers out there who want something more unique on their tree for the holidays.

Gamers of all ages and genders have always had a good reason to be uber-excited about the holidays: the chance of getting new games or gaming hardware in the morning if they were good throughout the year. Said gamers are probably gonna want to decorate their trees not with standard ornaments, but rather…

…game controller-shaped ornaments. Yes folks, someone out there is actually making and selling these. They don’t look too bad either – the ornaments are made of laser-cut red acrylic and measure between 3-4 inches wide. Controller designs from the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo 64, Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega Dreamcast, Sega Genesis, Sony Playstation and Microsoft XBox consoles, according to the image, are available, and you get all seven in one flatpack. While string or clips aren’t included, I’m sure you’ll find something to use in that little supply drawer of yours.

The seller, under the name of “useyourdigits,” will ship anywhere and accepts PayPal or creditcard payment. Predictably, these game controller ornaments appear to be very popular – currently they are out of stock, with a note reading “due to high demand I am having to get more of these cut. I will do my best to get new ones out as soon as I can. If you order, it may take a little additional time to get to you (hopefully only a week or so.) Best to buy a bunch of these when you can, eh?

You can see the listing here.
