Great news from I.B.M I have trusted I.B.M for years I am currently using an Think pad T20 and it's still going strong.
I upgraded Ram and a optical dvd burner and its the greatest laptop I have ever used and will continue to use until it blows up. I will deffintly buy one if they are a reasonable price, most netbooks are very afforable and are great for the average person.

Good Luck Think Pad and hope to se it soon in stores

A netbook is, essentially, laptop with a screen size between 7-12" and low-cost, low power hardware.

Perhaps if you colour it pink and sell it to the female crowd even then I am betting it will not sell well. It is an underpowered, under sized, an under whelming dwarf of a notebook. Without expandability, without options and without any sense of common sense that I can see. Even if your two feet tall why, why would you want this useless machine.

Carol: go to this url and you can see what these marvels of technology are all about: (just cut (copy and paste this into your url into your browsers address bar.)) http://reviews.cnet.com/best-netbooks/

I love technology for sure, but lets get a grip and tell the manufacturers to stop wasting time, money and resources on things that are doomed to fail, again. Then again this would be a perfect fit for when I am flying my own aircraft with it secured in the right seat .... could I be wrong....?
