Registration entitles you to a qualification round that takes place on Friday, Oct. 23 (early qualification), Saturday Oct. 24 (main qualification) or the morning of Sunday Oct. 25 (late qualification). (See below for a complete schedule.)
Each player’s qualification round will include four pinball games on recently released Stern pinball machines. The player’s score will be determined by a point system for each machine, with the highest score on a particular machine receiving the most points. The player’s combined points of all machines will then be added together and used for ranking purposes.
From qualification scores, the top 30 ranked players, plus two randomly drawn wildcard spots not in the top 30 (32 players total) will then advance to the playoff rounds held on Sunday, Oct. 25. Playoff rounds will take place with the best two out of three pinball game eliminations with the winner of each series moving on to the next round.
