Facebook’s FarmVille Review
What is Facebook’s FarmVille and why are so many people playing it?
Recently, every time I log onto my Facebook account there’s two or three new updates about my friends achieving something or another in FarmVille. The first question I asked myself was, what the heck is FarmVille and why are so many people playing it? So I clicked one of their links to check it out and see what all the fuss was about.
For those of you who don’t know, FarmVille is a game on Facebook that puts the player into the life of a farmer. You start out with a few coins, a small plot of land, and the dream of building a farm. The first thing you see is a few plants that need to be harvested. So you use your little farmer to harvest the fruit or vegetables and you get paid for it. The ultimate goal of the game is to make as much money as possible and grow your farm into the biggest and best in the land. But this game isn’t just about harvesting and planting corn and wheat all day!
For starters, FarmVille has almost every crop you can imagine. You can grow everything from strawberries to eggplants for a profit. You start the game with only a few options, but as your green thumb grows, so does the inventory of the market. More expensive crops have a higher cash yield, but also require more attention. Just like in the real world, if you don’t watch your crops they’ll wither and die! So make sure to check in daily!
You may be wondering what happens when you’ve filled up all your land. You buy more! As you collect coins from harvesting you’ll feel the need to expand, so just pop into the market and buy land as you see fit. But what do you do with all this new land? Well, your farm needs buildings and decorations right? The market offers barns, houses, tractors, cars, and animals! So you can customize your farm to match your personality!
You can also cash in on any friends who play FarmVille. Every time your friend achieves an accomplishment you’re rewarded with either an item or coins! And to repay the favour you can send them a gift. Choose from things like various trees, to odd animals, and even the occasional mystery prop. Whatever it is, your friends are sure to be happy you’re their neighbour. FarmVille lets you add your Facebook friends as your neighbours in the game, so you can watch each others progress and compete!
The newest feature to FarmVille is the ability to customize what your farmer looks like. You can choose the gender, look, and colour of your avatar to fit you perfectly. So you”ll feel like you’re actually on the farm!
With constant updates and free giveaways, FarmVille stays interesting. I found it addicting and half the time it’s the only reason I go onto Facebook. It’s fun to compete against friends and check out their farms. And there’s no better way to pick up a girl than giving her a fig tree! So give the farmer’s life a chance and try out FarmVille on Facebook. You’re sure to have as much fun as going on a hay ride!
I love to play Farmville but mine has not worked yesterday or today and im going to loose everything. I have worked on it for over a month and now everyone else can see there but not me. few days,, all i get is a white screen,, i will have lost loads of crops now,, please can it be fixed, a lot of my friends are having the same problem,, it just will not load ,,, Thankyou ,,,
Hi try this it worked for me i found that the firewall for Xp had put a block on zynga from using cookies I turned the firewall off then farmville loaded all the way good luck
if you have more than one[1] chicken coop or you are breaking their terms of service they are locking you out of your farm with the game play out of sync with the server message
I can not get into my game I would like too know how to fix this matter. Its very upsetting

I have the same problem. 50% of the time this farmville game will not load or is not working at all.My crops wither snd I get crazy trying to get in.
i recieved a large pond from a neighbor as a gift. did not understand how to collect it and place it on my farm. now i have lost it. also saved and saved to buy a workshop and lost it due to complications with farmville. i have lost several crops, i could complain all day, but look at it this way come on people it is a game! thanks
farmville and townfarm are both fun and intresting at the moment there is a lot of logging in to it which can be annoying as hell espcially when its near the time you need to look in to harvest.
both are different and intresting townfarm will allow you to be more interactive with others like inviting people to pick or plough the ground for you.
i deal for any age … just hope they sort the bugs out soon

What sucks is that half my friends play FarmVille while the other half play FarmTown, which I belive came first. Anyway, they are both very similar, but it’s annoying because I don’t want to keep two farms at once!

How can I acquire more land? I make lots of coins, but not much Farm Cash that is required to purchase land.
i like farm ville,. i play it like whole day sometimes, in fairness to zynga i do not have any problem with it,.,. you can have the option to let your friends do the harvest for you if you cant open farmville.,. congratulations zynga,.,.

I got enough Farm Cash to buy extra land once, but now I have about 500,000 in coins and cannot buy more land due to the fact that I don’t have enough Farm Cash. I’m not spending real cash to buy Farm Cash. How can I get more Farm Cash with using real money to buy it?
You can expand your farm with your coins instead of the farmcash. You just need more neighbours. Like 16 to get to the 20×20 land.
That doesn’t always work because I have enough neighbors for more land but it’s locked and can’t get it. This is very annoying. Why don’t they unlock the land if they want us to play their game.
This is my biggest gripe about this game. Thinking about quitting because of it. I, too, have alot of coins but they won’t let you buy anything except trinkets with out using real money, and you never get enough farmville cash except by achieving another level. This game could be a lot more fun if they would let you buy and build with coins earned. Like it is it becomes BORING. Not spending real cash on a game. No way!
Farm Town absolutely will not load the last 3 days. On the ‘bar’ it gets almost half way then stops. I have tried everything i know to do. Please give me some help on this.

I have 50 neighbors and Farmville will STILL not unlock more land — I need teh 22 x 22 desperately — does anyone know how to unlock the 22 x 22???
coming soon means, that 22 and 24 is not unlocked for anybody, until they bought more server space. it is not about levels, or neihgbours. you just have to wait, until they unlock it, there is nothing you can actually do about it. if you want to, you can join a cause… but i dont think it really helps…
Expanding to 22 x 22 and 24 X 24?…I’m just guessing because I haven’t really found a answers..I think it will open at level 99??..Every time I click on “expand farm” in the market area. The Level 99 is there for a split second then it reads “coming soon”

When you are plowing, every once in a while you see a coin pop out of the ground, does that mean anything, can or do you have to catch it or something???
I also play farmville and it is very addicting. The apps might not work all the time as they update from so many ppl playing. I refresh my apps all the time when that happens and it does seem to correct the problem. I would tell everyone I know that is on facebook to join Farmville for something to waste time away when nothing is on TV or your just bored stiff.
im on farmville for about 2 months however now im in 26 level and for me its important to play because it relax my mind apart that i have fun to see all that trees and plants growing.today i played in the morning than after i log in again and it come a sentence telling me that i have to refresh my page because i lost all my bits.first i want to know how and why i have to refresh my page!.and how it possible that first i had everything up to date and now i lost everything and after i refresh my page i have to start from the begining or from level 26 that i was before.pls try to do something.thanks.

I have had spinal surgery an this is a way for me tostay in touch with people.It keeps me from going crazy. I am lost last night an today ecspecialy with the rain and farmville down.
