Want 29 free songs from iTunes?

iTunes Canada today launched its official fan site on Facebook. Those who sign up can get a code to download 29 free songs from the likes of Alexisonfire (picture here) and Our Lady Peace.

Becoming a “fan” of iTunes Canada on Facebook gives you a few goodies, such as occasional free music and TV shows, updates on the latest content, tips and tricks, Canadian charts and the ability to search (and share) your favourite iTunes picks.

For a limited time, though, Apple Canada is throwing in 29 (mostly Canadian) songs to download to your PC or Mac. Not a bad marketing ploy (er, I fell for it).

Called the “Back to School 2009″ sampler, here’s the complete list of free tunes:
