William, in Ontario our law enforcement is there to be self-serving, and protect their own interests. But that's another rant.

I have purchased the uCorder and found it works well - especially well for the price. This is a great tool for documenting business meetings, and it's better than taking notes.
No, it's not 16:9 HD, but neither is the cost.
I recommend it for anyone who needs to record what's being said, and by whom, in any situation where accuracy is required.

Nothing wrong with that. It obviously was designed by a person who has an imagination.

I have just bought this UCorder. Found that while recording in my hand it had excellent video and audio. But, when clamped to my purse, with no movement, the video froze but the audio kept playing. Great web cam, no software to install, just plug in and it's ready to go.

Somebody sounds like they have an issue with law enforcement. I tend to avoid seedy areas as a matter of personal safety, including the beaches in Jamaica

Certain aspects would be there to protect the individual should the case arise, most certainely isolated cases, our Law Enforcement is there to protect us & not abuse us. Frankly a person would'ent have to much brains to walk in a crime ridden area alone. As for the Beaches in Jamaica, they are not necessarily safe, one would be walking out of the Fire into the Fire. If the Camera is used as a novelty & to get some fun, I would buy it. Hope I did'ent offend the Writer!

This would be the greatest boon to reduce the erosion of citizens' rights EVER! Case in point: you're on your way home and you take a short-cut through a "crime-riddled area". You know you didn't stop to buy drugs or even talk to anyone. That unmarked car comes from out of nowhere and you begin recieving harrassment from the police with a bunch of dumb questions and them knowing you weren't doing anything but walking. Your uCorder is hooked up to your home server and maybe to your lawyers' office so when they assault you and arrest you, you have ammunition for a multi-million dollar lawsuit that gets the assualting officers fired and jailed, the station house captain busted back down to traffic duty, and you heal up on the beach in Jamaica or wherever blissful in the thought that you'll never have to work again and that somewhere, those assaultive swine are experiencing a "welcome-to-your-butt" party in some penitentiary
showerroom. Thanks to the technological revolution
