Use TxtNinja to mask text in image format and fight spam
One of the few things in life universally despised is spam messaging. We all try to avoid it but it keeps coming somehow. Here’s a way to decrease the odds of getting spam by putting text in images.

TxtNinja is an online service that masks text by converting your words it into an image. This is useful because spammers often use web crawlers that search the Internet for people who have listed their e-mail address. If you tell a contact on a message board or Twitter to “email me at me@myemailaddress.com,” spam bots are likely to discover the message and add you to a directory of accounts to bother.
Block the spam hunters with TxtNinja, which will turn that message into an image that looks like this:
![]()
That way, spammers are less likely to pick up your address. You may have noticed that Facebook does something very similar when listing email addresses on member profiles.
You can also use TxtNinja to send someone text you don’t want to appear in search engine results or archived in an instant messenger conversation (drag the image to the conversation box rather than linking to it).
Be aware that that TxtNinja stores your image as long as it is accessed once every 365 days. If you’re entering sensitive information that you don’t want anyone to stumble across (unlikely), don’t use this service. However, if you just need to pass on some information and want to avoid getting spammed, TxtNinja is something I’d recommend.
