Store and manage your passwords with KeePass program
Keeping track of your many passwords is tiresome but necessary. Free application KeePass can help store your many passwords with a secure master key.

Why do you need this? I’ve already mentioned how dangerous it is to use one universal password for every account you maintain online. It can lead to serious problems if one of your accounts is compromised. On the other hand, who wants to remember a password for their personal email, work email, bank account, Facebook, Twitter, blog, and more? That’s where KeePass comes in.
KeePass is a free program that stores all of your passwords in a database accessible via one master password. I know you’re saying, “You just told me not to do that!” but it’s not the same. KeePass stores your information on your computer and encrypts the information (hides the info to make it unreadable to most outsiders). KeePass keeps your passwords securely on your computer, so it is not the same as someone outside of your home computer discovering your password and wreaking havoc on your online life.
Let me be clear that this is only for people who have trouble remembering all of their passwords and need a secure solution for storing them all. You can set your browser to remember passwords some people choose not to do this if they share computers with a spouse, child, roommate, or sibling. If you can remember all of your accounts without issue, KeePass isn’t something you need. However, someone who keeps a list of their passwords could benefit from this added layer of protection.
Download the latest version of KeePass from KeePass.info. The program is available for Windows, Mac OS, and Linux.
