Buy friends on Facebook
They say money can’t buy you love, but it could buy you friends –on Facebook, anyway. uSocial.net has just unveiled a new service that lets you buy friends for your Facebook page.
Designed to help those using social networking for marketing purposes, uSocial.net – the company we wrote about selling Twitter followers for the late Michael Jackson — has just uneviled a service that allows you to buy friends on Facebook.
“Facebook is an extremely effective marketing tool as anyone with a large number of targeted friends or fans can attest to” says uSocial.net’s CEO Leon Hill. “The only problem is that it can be extremely difficult to achieve such a following, which is where we come in.”
uSocial claims this pay-for-play service can ”very accurately” target friends to be added to a user’s account – by interest group, industry or geographic location.

From the uSocial site: “and then we go about attaining relevent friends for you and adding them to your Faceboook account. Every single person we gain for you will be real users and exactly relevant to what you are looking for — this is our guarantee.”
Hmmm…where do these “friends” come from? Can we look forward to Facebook spam now?
I was going to write pretty much exactly that. So i will add a “yeah what she said”.
$700 for 5000 facebook friends!? you have got to be kidding me! I have never required a buisness n’or have i had to pay to have facebook friends, even without me searching out friends i have accumulated almost 1000 and thats not counting old school mates, etc… i wouldnt pay a single time to anyone to promote my buisness… the smartest bet is to make a group, send it to YOUR friends list.. and have THEM forward and invite THEIR friends.. so on and so on.. there ya go, whaddya know.. 5000 facebook friends for 0 dollars.. as opposed to $700….pathetic
who cares wow
facebook – i dont want u to find friends for me, i have enough problems. one day u will be in court for one of your scams, quit while u are ahead.
…………..who needs that many unnecessary facebook friends anyway…?
Of course I am not surprised to see that such a service exists. I wonder about who needs/wants this service. While there are the “desperate for status” people out there, (who think that the number of people in the friends list says something about how great they are), I wonder who really needs this?
And likely those that do want/need this service can’t afford it. Odd to think that people who join a “free” service would want to pay to be connected to people they don’t know.
Wow. Our society is soo seriously de-evolving it’s getting pretty scary.
“Friends” should really be “Contacts” or “Connections” because really, how many of those with 1000′s of these are truly friends.
In any case, I think sadly this could catch on. I can see people texting one another giddy because they just bought some new friends for facebook. Ugh. Sure, you may have to be have some major dollars for it, but it’s plausible. Otherwise, I just hope it disappears fast and no one is that lonley or that stupid to go through with it.
Howdy,Intriguing post, although i’m more concerned in what will take place out of this google vs facebook social network war. I haven’t discovered much news on it recently, which more than likely implies that it is definitely not that far off, but i’ve a idea its likely to really mean some huge improvements to social networks. For me, i’d personally prefer facebook came out of the war still in the lead simply because google’s already large enough, plus they currently hold too much data on most people. I do not believe the two will be able to exist though, either google’s social network will control or completely crash. What does anybody else believe?
