Logitech unveils first mice that track on glass
Ever checked into a hotel room and you couldn’t use your computer mouse because the desk had a glass top? Optical/laser mice work on many surfaces, even your pant leg, but not glass or any other reflective surface — until now.

Today, Logitech unveiled two new mice for PCs and Macs, both of which can be used on any surface.
The Anywhere Mouse MX ($79.99) and Performance Mouse MX ($99.99) let you work wherever life takes you — even on glass tables.
This is possible with Logitech’s Darkfield Laser Tracking technology, which offers precision control, fast scrolling and wireless connectivity thanks to a teeny “Unifying” receiver that stays in your laptop so you won’t lose the dongle (and if you like, add a compatible wireless keyboard or another mouse, too).
As the name suggests, the Anywhere Mouse MX offers a compact, sculpted design — perfect for on-the-go computing — while the Logitech Performance Mouse MX offers a larger, right-handed sculpted grip for added comfort and features integrated controls for web browsing, app toggling, photo viewing, and more.
The Logitech Performance Mouse MX also includes a flexible recharging system that uses a micro-USB cable to recharge your mouse — through your computer or a standard wall outlet (even while you’re using it).
Are you still using the same computer mouse that shiped with your PC? Would you pay a premium for a mouse that could track on every surface, such as glass?
