Josh-what you have to do is log into your facebook for one last time! You can go to the Contact Us link at the top of the page (at least that's what I did last year, not sure if it's changed). But there has to be an e-mail address for admin for facebook somewhere. E-mail them from the e-mail account that you login with. Tell them that you want your profile deleted TODAY-Not in 14 days, TODAY!! They have to listen to you, it's your right if you want it gone today.
You should have a responce within 24 hours that your profile is gone!
Good Luck--leaving facecrack is the best thing I ever did!
Cheers

I click submit on the delete account page, and nothing ever happens. I must have tried over 100 times already and my account is still active. To anyone who doesn't yet have a facebook account: DON'T GET ONE. By the way when i got to this delete page;
http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=delete_account
there is a little padlock symbol on the search bar next to the web URL.
Can anyone help me get my information of that horrible, big brother website?

When all else fails here is what to do:

Go to the help section of facebook, and copy the e-mail address for reporting abuse on facebook.
Send an e-mail from the e-mail address that you use to login to facebook. Tell them how pissed you are that you can not reset your password, or deactivate your account. Normally it takes 14 days to delete your account (a sneaky way for the makers of facebook to get you to log back into your account within that time frame. Warning: if you login withing the 14 days the delete request will be cancelled)
In your e-mail state that you want your facebook account deleted TODAY, not 14 DAYS!! They have to listen to your request or you can sue their ass!! Worked for me!! That is the only way I could delete my account!! :)
Good luck, and congrats on getting rid of crackbook! If your friends don't pick up the phone or send you a regular e-mail you know that they arn't really your friends..they just want to look popular on facebook with 500 friends which is pathetic. ;) Happy Christmas!
