Would you buy a Wi-Fi-enabled Blu-ray player?

Sony yesterday announced a new line of Blu-ray players and home theatre systems — including models that offer Wi-Fi connectivity. Is this something that interests you if it adds to the cost? Or does your wireless PS3 do the trick?
Yesterday, Sony announced a handful of new Blu-ray player models from its annual retail showcase in Las Vegas.
Shipping this summer, the BDP-S360 (about $300) and BDP-S560 (about $350) are standalone Blu-ray players, the latter of which offers built-in Wi-Fi wireless network capabilities (802.11N/G/B/A), therefore it can hop on your wireless network for online BD-Live features or downloadable updates.
If you're more interested in "home theatre in a box packages," which includes a Blu-ray player, AV receiver and speakers, Sony also announced its BDV-E300 (about $600) and BDV-E500W (about $800) home theater systems will be available this June. As with its just-announced standalone Blu-ray players, the E300 and E500W delivers full HD 1080/60p (and 24p True Cinema output) and supports the latest Blu-ray surround sound audio codecs (up to 7.1 channel Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD High Resolution Audio and DTS-HD Master Audio decoding).
What's your take on Blu-ray — as a medium — to date? Would you pay extra for Wi-Fi connectivity in a Blu-ray player?

I already have a wi-fi enabled Blu-Ray player that takes advantage of BDLive. It's called PlayStation 3. It's the #1 value on the electroncs market in my opinion. For $400 you get a fully featured, and upgradable Blu-Ray player, a full fledged Web browser from which I'm posting this right now, and the highest number of the best, high quality AAA games in gaming. You can't beat it.

I agree with Larry.. PS3 is still the best value for a Blu-Ray player (Too bad X-box doesn't have it).. but I would pay for the extra $$$ for built in Wi-Fi (Too Bad Xbox doesn't come with it too).. For a stand alone player, eliminates the hastle of upgrading. I do like the BD-live feature… I download info in the harddrive and remove it if i don't need it anymore. I am considering buying a BD HTiB some time in the summer for my bedroom. The PS3 is doung an awsome job as the centre of my HT system especially since i hooked up a 1TB HDD which stores all my Media such as Videos, Pictures, and MP3s. Online Games for PS3 are also awesome.. and BTW are free.. (too bad you have to pay for X-box live)
