Sync at ‘Merry Go Round’ charity event at Hockey Hall of Fame
Sync attended a charity at the Hockey Hall of Fame last night, the Merry Go Round Children’s Foundation “Annual Mixer,” to raise money and awareness for children in at-risk communities. The organization provides computer and Internet access to kids, as well as an e-buddy police officer volunteer, to chat with the child via email.

This Toronto-based charity helps level the playing field for children by donating complete state-of-the-art HP home computer systems, including Internet access and security software, to children who demonstrate passion and potential to excel academically, if given the opportunity.
A young girl gave an inspiring speech about how the donated Internet-connected computer, and police buddy she could chat with, has changed her life.
The 5th Annual Mixer, which included live and silent auctions, let geeks like us rub elbows with a number of celebrities in the sports world (namely, NHL and CFL players, coaches and commissioners) and media personalities from TV and radio stations — all for a worthy cause.
And take a gander at this shot of yours truly with my arm around the one-and-only Stanley Cup. That was worth the price of admission alone!
