You don't even have to look at what you're typing. Also, a lot of people are multitaskers. I do multiple things while studying. If a kid was at home studying, they would probably be communicating with other people in the household while doing so. Why kids need a cell phone with text messaging anyway? I don't want to repeat some of the comments here: BAD PARENTAL & FAMILY EDUCATION, WASTE OF TIME & MONEY etc. As a medical doctor my kids are not allowed to wear headphones because I have no intentio for them to develop premature hearing loss, it is a waste of taxpayers' money. During this cold Christmas Seasons we hand wrote our Christmas cards and walked to the post office in the snow.
