well i wouldnt walk across the street to see something i couldnt see, but love the comment about teachers making people feel small, for me it was miss quick and i tried to be that teacher who did not do that…..somehow its just not that easy, but for sure possible and then you bump into parents who want their kid to be a doctor and that is X 10 for the parents of immigrants and asians……my dentist told me her children wanted to be a gynocologist and a thorasic surgeon…..i said oh what grade are they in…..no in school age 3 and 4…….how do you know what they want to be i asked…..oh that easy…..i tell them……hope meaghan finds that job………people are beating up GM here; out of pure envy and self hatred because they love toyotas….the chevy impala is a great car just look at what taxi cab drivers are using……cheap and good mileage……..i know your no fan of car culture but the north american culture all other culture is built on other than aboriginal culture is the internal combustion engine……..people here and everywhere are saying let GM die….the republicans want to save the company but cut health and pension benefits of workers(toyotta workers earn more per hour than GM workers now for 12 years and their work force is probably on average 25 years younger(less health and pension costs for the next decade, then they will be right were GM is now)……everyones assuming toyotta could just pick up and build enough toyotas to meet demand..NOT…ie people hate air canada and love westjet……..aircanada has 10 planes for every one westjet plane and by necessity has to use older planes and sure it cost more per ticket; they pay their pilots twice as much and dont just fly where its most profitable…..i fly west jet cause i'm scottish, but i love aircanada and my chevy's……..not because they are cars, but i like where they take me………Federated Coop is the biggest company in Saskatchewan with 4 billion dollars in sales………people like your dad built this company and walmart is positioning itself to take it away…. sometimes the cheapest price is not the cheapest price…..when henry ford killed all the other car manufactures with his assembly line;$400.00 model T that cost him 400.00 to build; he asked his managers to build in some profit…they said reduce wages…..he said how stupid, who will be able to afford to buy my cars; so they went out and sold more cars and changed the paint option from black or black to black and some other colour……Sure china will build our cars; but where will our children work and who will afford them…….people hate unions and only 2 outta 10 are unionized today…..in your dads day it was 3.5 outta 10….and the best thing about the union other than the idea of saftey; was the idea that you had to buy when possible from manufactruers(sp) that were as close to where you lived as possible and if possible from a unionized plant so that jobs would create jobs…………..which is really all china wants……jobs so people can eat…..which is all our children want….opportunity ……..to eat and drive a chevy or like me my saturn…….on cbc yesterday people were saying none wants a chev anymore….old hippies or they have been watching to much star trek….i dont want to live in windsor….tough town but i'm not giving up my chev for a volkswagon……and i love germans, just dont want to marry one……..its enough i have to work with one……..this guys art ain't worth 20 million but i would love to see the look on the faces of his teachers if they saw this video………….

I notice the previous poster is from Saskatchewan. I was also born there, as was my dad and grandfather. I own a Toyota truck, it gets good gas mileage, runs good and always starts in the morning no matter how cold. You know, 100 years ago 1 in 3 Canadians lived on a farm. Now we live in cities and don't know how to milk a cow. I grow green onions inside my house, always have some to sprinkle on my meals. Save your money, don't buy useless junk and always look on the sunny side of life.
I live on a ranch. People live in the city because they want to. If you want to live on a farm then do it! Just like this man who knew he needed to do his art…he just did it and look at him now. Your art is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay….so to say its not worth 20 million is dumb….cause someone paid him. Very cool….glad to see someone with no education proving to us all that our eduction system is highly over rated!

When things go wrong, it's human nature to feel many different forms of negative emotions, and we try to hang on to them as long as we can; hoping somebody else will come "fix it" for us.
I believe that it's people like him in the world that give us something to keep striving for. It's not always easy to pick yourself back up, and yet here is a man who has done what is only, most simply asked, of one self, in a life time: To take what he simply "has," and to work with it. It just goes to show that people can be so disgustingly prejudice, and to people who are capable, in ways one couldn't even imagine.
We really should do more news coverage on him, and people like him: I would rather have my kids idolize this kind of person than the rappers and "talking box of french fries" crap kind of cartoons on television.
I only hope this man can continue to enlighten and inspire those around him – let's put more of this positive energy intot he media, shall we?

Now this is a story I will never get forget. What an incredible gift of sight. This man is too special for teachers to understand and they gave him a difficult time.LOL.. What talent! God! I now think of a quote from the bible it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a sinner enter Heaven. This guy makes it look & sound easy.He is SPECIAL.
