Remember you have the power to make each day the best or the worst..it's your choice not your horoscopes. If reading your horoscope has an influence over your activities and mood for the day then it's excessive.

The case for astrology is that it is among the most enduring of human beliefs, it connects us with the cosmos and the totality of things, it provides a basic means of describing ourselves, and there is a wide range of approaches. In practical terms a warm and sympathetic astrologer provides low-cost non-threatening therapy that is otherwise hard to come by. You get emotional comfort, spiritual support, and interesting ideas to stimulate self-examination. And new ideas are always emerging that could raise spiritual awareness. In a dehumanised society an astrologer provides personal support at a very low price. Where else can you get this sort of thing these days? There is more to astrology than being true or false. But integrity and validity are crucial because astrology lends itself to commercial abuse, as in sun sign columns and phonelines, and to exploitation of the gullible.

Horoscopes are not good or bad for you. I belive in the enjoyment they provide for social reasons. Great leaders in the past have used Astrologers to seek guidence for thier future endevours regarding business and personal gains. If one continues to live life following thier forcast on a dailly basis then it would not matter how one lives thier life since it is controlled by thier horoscope.
This is something for one to decide weather they belive in it or not.

I believe that reading your horoscope on a daily basis is a total waste of time and sometimes even dangerous if taken seriously. That is, unless your reading it for your own humor then I guess that's okay. If your horoscope says "you will stuble upon excessive wealth in the near future" and you are the type of person who believes these things then you are surely going to be put into good spirits and have high hopes (not necessarily a bad thing). That's all fine and well until you go bankrupt because you've invested your life savings into an idea that was risky but you figured this must be what your horoscope was talking about. Now if you only not been so naieve to believe everything written in black and white you'd still have your house and your car and 'some' money in your pocket. It's a rather contradicting situation. So not only have you not become wealthy, you've also had your spirits crushed and may or may not suffer psychological issues from this or a similar situation. Reality, unfortunately, happens in real time. Nobody, not even the horoscope Gods, can predict who, what, when, where, why, how or if something can happen. We create our own horoscopes living our daily lives. Horoscopes can be correct, but only if kept vague such as "someone will offer you a helping hand today". So if you go to say Home Depot and someone offers to help you (which is their job) you think "Wow, how'd they know?". No, they knew anybody who read that would likely be offered a helping hand. If your a bum on the street someone throws you a penny, someone gave you a helping hand, if you're a stay at home mom and your husband brought home supper you been lent a helping hand, if you're a 12 yr old student and the person in the desk next to you tells you that it's BEDMAS not BEDSAM for order of opperations, you too have been given a helping hand. So, in conclusion, horoscopes are pretty much BS and sometimes, if taken to seriously, can be exremely painful. That is all.

I am for reading horoscopes...sort of. At the end of the day it's really all relative to the reader. Much like statistics, one can make a horoscope mean whatever they want it to mean. You read it in a book or paper and apply it to your life. They are designed to be non-specific so there isn't any fallout after the fact, and they are generally on the lighter side of life. Who wants to read in their horoscope that they're going to die that day, or that they're going to catch their spouse in bed with someone from the office. Instead they'll read that a change is coming or someone close to them is keeping a secret.

I find them fun to read but I tend to do so a day or so after the fact, just to see how accurate they are. Even still, I find a way to find some truth, which makes me want to continue to read them.

I guess it's easier to support something that you feel a personal and/or emotional attachment to....those clever astrologers
