Thanks for the comments everyone. Our winner will be picked tomorrow!
Update: Congrats to Troy Brown for his creative comment… it scored him a Zune. We just hope his wife is okay after the surprise commandeering of the surgeon’s scalpel.

Well horoscopes aren't exactly bad for you but they're not good for you either. Sure every now and than you pick peoples magazine or the new paper and go to the back to look for your zodiac sign. And sure it's fun to see what it says, but you can't always beleive what you read. Sure sometimes you read it and realize that "this is so true". I myself question how it seems to have an accurate prediction of how my day or life is going. It's for fun no harm no foul. If you feel like reading your horoscope than do it if not, don't. And for me i'll keep reading mine trying to see how accurate it really is.

I don't think reading your horoscope makes any sense at all! Since there are only 12 signs of the Zodiac it means that 1/12th of the world shares the same fate as you do: how likely is that?

The relative positions of the sun, stars, moons and planets have huge implications on our lives including lunar tides, seasonal weather, animal mating seasons, the length of sunlight each day, and much more. These changes in our environment have an influence on the lives of humans every day. With that in mind, the belief that the position of the sun, stars, moon, and planets at the time of a persons birth can shape their personality is quite believable. By examining the position of the sun, stars, moon, and planets, combined with what their positions were at ones birth, those trained can predict changes in ones personality, live, and future prospects. Although the daily horoscopes published in newspapers have been somewhat generalized, they can still produce some accurate results. Reading these on a daily basis is a great way of having advanced knowledge of events you may encounter in your future, allowing you to seizing opportunities and avoid threats.

Personally I take pleasure in reading my daily horoscope. A lot of times they get it right. Even on the days they don't I enjoy it for the sake of reading. Everything goes to the persons personal preference as to whether someone believes what is being said on that particular day. But even if they were never right there is always that one chance they may be. And whether I read my horoscope online, in a news paper or magazine I truly have a great time reading them. Why? Every one is different no 2 are the same that keeps it interesting but that is just my opinion. It would be nice to win the 4 GB Zune Zodiac Edition but if I don't that is okay also. Have a great day.

Comment is FOR reading your Horoscope daily.
> Because it gives you a chance to get a glimpse into your day as to how great or challenging it will be; allowing you to be mentally prepared to positively deal with any obstacles. And if you are a GEMINI like myself; then you will be double prepared..hihi heheh.

One morning, while on my way to work I perused the horrorscopes (as I like to call them). I never put any faith in them at all, I just read them for a lark. They are often written as vaguely as possibly to ensure the widest distribution of successful "forcasting". I don't remember much of what I read, except for 1 line – "May 22nd will be a very important day for you". Uhhh… ok… thanks…
Anyways, that night I sub'ed in on a friend's volleyball team, and met my future. She was a player on the team I was joining. It was something right out of a movie script – we hit it off immediately and I knew right from the start she was the one. (actually I *really* knew she was the one when we got roaring drunk at a bar one night and she literally threw me over her shoulder and carried me home – she's freakishly strong like that)
If that was the only thing that happened, I would have written it off as coincidence and never thought twice about it. However after dating for a couple years, I finally popped the question, and she accepted. Since her favorite flowers are Tulips she wanted to have a late spring wedding. The date she picked – yup May 22nd. Ok that's totally coincidental because that's May long weekend.
Another few years fly by and we find ourselves expecting the birth of our first born. And the expected delivery date – no not may 22nd – but June 10th. However 3 weeks before the expected birth, my wife was having a particular diffucult case of acid reflux (heart burn). She wanted to just quickly jet down to the hospital to see what she could or could not take for it as she normally uses prescribe medication.
Seeing it was 5:30 in the morning she told me to stay home, go back to sleep and go to work, as we had been through this before with her re-occurance of this issue. She didn't want me to miss work at all since I had just started a new job a couple months before.
Well as you would have guessed, at 8:00am I get a phone call at work from the office, telling me my wife is about to give birth and I need to get down there ASAP. The baby had gone into distress and so they were sending my wife in for an emergancy c-section. I got there *just* as the doctor was about to make the incision.
I stepped over to the Doctor, took the scapel and said "I'll take it from here, thanks".
But wouldn't you know it… 3 weeks early on May 22nd. That's one anniversary I'll never forget.
Now each year I look forward to what May 22nd will bring…..

Personal horoscopes are set up in ways that they always come true for every reader, have you ever had a situation where you have read your horoscope, thought "Hey, this is totally me.", then read the horoscope of another sign and went, "Hey, this is totally me." Exactly. There are different types of horoscopes, some in papers, some in magazines, separate horoscope rolled papers; they all seem to be having to say a different thing, but all of them describe you. It's because they are so vague, it's a no brainer if you really think about it. All these "predictions" are a normal part of our daily lives. And really, will all the cancers out there get a 'big raise' on saturday night?

I enjoy reading horoscopes because I feel like it's more exciting to believe that the stars, suns, moons and planets can actually make an impact in someone's daily life. I feel that it is pretty conceited to think that the infinite universe can't affect at least one person in his/her daily life.
Sometimes, things happen to me and when I read the horoscope at the end of the day, I realize that they had it right. Or even sometimes I read it and take the advice more or less seriously throughout my day and it can end up making a positive impact on my day.
So, whether horoscopes are true or not, I like the feeling that I'm part of the universe and that my decisions can sway depending on it.

I enjoy occasionally reading my horoscope or those of the people I'm closest to. It's funny and entertaining placing portions of your life into the confines of what you read. I prefer the freedom of unbiased decisions while living and chose not to read it at the start of my day.

I am for reading your horoscope everyday. Although I do not believe in it, why not just have some fun? Some of the horoscopes can really brighten up your day!

While I generally don't like to put any faith in horoscopes I do find myself reading them when I come across them in papers/magazines etc and on many occasions(perhaps more often then not) it's scary how they do parallel real life in one way or another. Not always exactly but there really does seem to be some "truths" to them if you will. I've heard the argument that horoscopes are noted in such vague terms that you can easily find a way to associate them with your real life and perhaps that's true but so what, we as humans seem to yearn for something to believe in or something to compare our lives to and for some a horoscope provides just that. Believe them or not, I'd bet we could all find some truths in our daily horoscopes. Perhaps it's not best to "rely" on them and base our lives around what they say but who's to say that really. To each their own. If it helps you get through your day with a little reassurance/guidance then why not, you're not hurting anyone.

Against because if you are always looking to see if your horoscope is going to come true for the day then you will miss the day. Remember to live as if you were dying not dying as you live.

I read my horoscope mainly for entertainment, but the odd time it is sort of right which is fine. I`d rather go day by day then depend on it or get my hopes up.
