Santa video is fun for the kids
Just in time for the holidays, a new web service lets you create a custom video message from Santa for any child on your Christmas list.
Just in time for the holidays, a new web service lets you create a custom video message from Santa for any child on your Christmas list.
Sympatico / MSN’s new Portable North Pole tool gives users the ability to choose a series of custom options such as the child’s name, age, location and even a digital photo, which is then included in the final video message from Santa.
The result is a fun, 1 minute video which won’t fool a media-savvy 8 year old, but will definitely generate some awe in the little ones at home.
It’s a slick production, and the inclusion of the child’s photo (optional) will give the video extra wow-factor and definitely inspire a lot of kids to ask “How did Santa get my picture?”.
The final video URL is private, and will be provided both at the end of the creation process and in an email to the creator. You can then share the video with friends and family if you wish.
Portable North Pole is available in French too: Père Noël Portable

I AM TRYING TO DO THIS FOR MY GRANDAUGHTER, AND GRANDSON.
DON’T KNOW WHERE TO GO, AND GIVE YOU THE INFORMATION THAT
YOU NEED FOR THE VIDEO, TO SEND TO THEM.
R.S.V.P. PLEASE
I keep getting an error message 404. When will they be fixing it. I use Firefox and HS internet. Everything is up to date on my end.
Same as Lura above. Get 404 error on last page. On clicking the emailed link, same problem. Have shrunk jpg photo’s to about 40k. Based in Ireland, using Chrome, Win XP and have 10mbit broadband so connection speed not a problem …….. any ideas?
PS did it a 2nd time for other son and got it to replay but didn’t show picture.
same keeps happening to me,get rite to the end then it says error 404! infuriating! any ideas when it will be working?
The site seems to be working but I have tried multiple times to have it upload my selected photo, even tried different ones, and this part of the site just isn’t working for me. Any one else run into the same difficulty? If so, were you able to find a way to correct it??
Optionally, Google using the search term “free personalized santa video” and you will be presented with some other options for different sites that have something similar that may work just as well or better.

this is daft…duznt work at all…says error 404, tried to report it and just gives a troubleshoot about being stuck on page 1! and no tech team to give an update? waste of time…
I have tried to create a santa video this year and I can’t up load the video. I get the other santa video .but not the one where santa is using the map and showing where the north pole is located. I would love tho have this video it’s the best.
