Just in time for the holidays, a new web service lets you create a custom video message from Santa for any child on your Christmas list.

Santavideo Just in time for the holidays, a new web service lets you create a custom video message from Santa for any child on your Christmas list.

Sympatico / MSN’s new Portable North Pole tool gives users the ability to choose a series of custom options such as the child’s name, age, location and even a digital photo, which is then included in the final video message from Santa.

The result is a fun, 1 minute video which won’t fool a media-savvy 8 year old, but will definitely generate some awe in the little ones at home.

It’s a slick production, and the inclusion of the child’s photo (optional) will give the video extra wow-factor and definitely inspire a lot of kids to ask “How did Santa get my picture?”.

The final video URL is private, and will be provided both at the end of the creation process and in an email to the creator. You can then share the video with friends and family if you wish.

Portable North Pole is available in French too: Père Noël Portable
