Dollar Daze: Memory Card Slot Cleaner for $1 |

Every month or so we push a shopping cart around our local dollar stores to see what high-tech goodies we can find. This time we snagged a 4-in-1 memory card slot cleaner from LaserLine -- for a cool buck.
Memory card slots are not self-cleaning, so a few products on the market claim to reduce problems caused by dust, lint and fuzz. Potential issues include lower read-write speeds, error messages or even corrupt data if the contacts become damaged.
Clear Connections is a patented 4-in-1 memory card slot cleaner that looks like a large orange Swiss Army Knife. But instead of camping utensils, four different white heads flip out of the body for various types of memory card slots (namely, Memory Stick, Compact Flash, SecureDigital and USB card slots). Simply insert and remove. That’s it.
Found at Dollarama locations, this $1 kit also contains a microfibre cleaning cloth and nylon brush for hard-to-reach places.
Hey, have you found any goodies for a Loonie? Do tell!

Hi,
i've looked at several dollarama stores and none seem to have them, or know what they are...Can you advise which store location you found it at?

Hi Grant and Maureen,
The last place I saw this product at Dollarama was the location at Dufferin and Centre in Thornhill. Perhaps it's worth a call before you go there? Speaking of north Toronto, I also saw it at a dollar tore at Bayview and High-Tech (Hwy 7-ish) but can't remember the name of the store there. Will try to find out for you guys.
