Twitter Mobile 101

Since 2006, Twitter has been asking you what you’re up to. It’s a quick, easy and clean way of keeping those who matter to you up-to-date with your life at a particular moment.

Twitter Mobile for cell phones is even more convenient, and it’s also a free app (data costs might apply, however).

With it you can:

* Update your status with quick exchanges between friends, family and co-workers – all based on one question: What are you doing? Are you checking out an awesome concert? At a clothing sale? Stuck in a waiting room? Twitter away.

* Answer the question about what you’re doing over a short text message, or “tweet,” and the responses are shared between your contacts immediately. Millions of mobile Twitterers are telling the world what’s going on right now (cool huh?).

* View your profile (which includes a twittering timeline in chronological order), check out your friends’ profiles or search for updates from people you follow. View stats such as how many followers you have. Go nuts.
