Chances are your next computer will be powered by Windows Vista, but many PC users will be unfamiliar how to transfer files from their existing PC to the new one. Sure, you can manually copy files to a USB thumb stick, external hard drive or recordable DVD, but there is an easier solution called Windows Easy Transfer. Here's a video that walks you through the process.

Even if i was to get a new pc I would still use my XP version.Why paying more when I already have paid for it and still happy with it.

Listen, people just have to understand that we are in a computer age now. So learn how to use them and stop letting Microsoft develop additional software that will become "standard issue" in future Windows versions, thus slowing our machines even more.
The solution is not to switch to Mac, but to stop Microsoft from developing operating systems for rookies.
I for sure don't need any Microsoft "assistance"

There was Windows Easy Transfer Companion that helped to transfer not just files, but programs from the old computer to a new. But Microsoft took it down from beta.
