Boo! Free Halloween app for iPhone a spooky treat

Many of the iPhone applications available for download at the App Store (part of iTunes) are useful, such as graphing calculators, streaming music programs and language lessons. And then there are the silly but fun ones. Try out this boo-tiful Jack-o-Lantern for some Halloween fun.

Called "Crazy Pumpkin," this fun app for the iPhone or iPod touch is simply a glowing pumpkin’s face (that doubles as a handy flashlight in the dark!) but you get to use your finger to swap out for different eyes, nose and mouths. Simply drag to the left or right to change up the look, with hundreds of combinations.

Give the iPhone or iPod touch a shake and not only will the face turn a different colour but will also play a different scary audio clip.
