They have demonstrated a talent for periodically releasing cutting-edge and exceptionally well-designed products in the past, including the recent Lumix series (which is a joy to use) as well as the first two-function "laptop" (Word Processor and Spreadsheet function) which had a folding screen and which could be connected via serial cable to a Panasonic electronic typewriter for printing. They also made a terrific version of Sony's Walkman (at a fraction of the price). I look foward to this new Lumix from Panasonic.
