If you aren't one of the lucky music lovers attending the Virgin Festival this weekend at Toronto Centre Island (after all, a two-day pass can cost up to $328), a live broadcast on satellite radio might be the next best thing.
Satellite radio heavyweight XM Canada is bringing the entire fest to The Verge Channel 52, devoted to emerging indie and alternative acts from Canada.
On September 6th and 7th, XM Satellite Radio subscribers will have exclusive access to this show, featuring Oasis, Foo Fighters, Paul Weller, Bloc Party, Stereophonics, The Weakerthans, Against Me!, Silversun Pickups, Constantines, and others.
Don't have a subscription? You're in luck. Visit XM Canada's website for a free 7-day online trial to listen to the two-day concert, plus you'll get a sneak peek of the other 129 channels offered by XM Satellite Radio Canada.
On Saturday and Sunday the bands turn it up to 11 beginning at 1:20 pm EST.

Thanks to XM 52 The Verge and Virgin for putting this on.
I'm stuck out west but now I can check out Foo Fighters and Oasis, two of my favorite bands.
Cheers
