Quickly determine if your batteries need replacing or charging with this pockets-sized battery tester from Sunbeam. The small, red and silver device lets you test 1.5V batteries (such as AAs or AAAs) or 9V batteries using the sensors on the top of the device. Match the positive polarity of the battery with the positive terminal on top of the test to gauge its condition.
Three red lights on the face of the unit tell you if the power status of your batteries, ranging from 20 percent to 100 percent. If the battery is dead, no LEDs will light up at all.
Naturally, this product requires batteries, too (three AG13 watch batteries), but they’re included.
With proof of purchase the Sunbeam Battery Tester is guaranteed to operate a minimum of one year from the original purchase date.

Used for maintenance in a factory and works great. Working o the 3rd year
Although it is a great tester they could of designed the contacts for testing batteries better. Ever try to hold 2 postitive knobs (+) together.
I bought one. Guess what? It takes batteries to operate and mine were stone cold dead. There is no site on the web to contact the manufacturer and I don’t wonder why. What a waste, even at a dollar I do not like to get scammed with a bad product.
I too have the Sunbeam battery tester and it works just fine. Its testing was consistent with how the batteries were operating (or not) in my apparatus. Am already looking for another one as backup.
