YouTube video downloader works like a charm
Ever find a video on YouTube and wish you could save it to view offline, email it to a friend, burn it to a DVD or transfer it to a smartphone? This free tool lets you do just that.
Ever find a video on YouTube and wish you could save it to view offline, email it to a friend, burn it to a DVD or transfer it to a smartphone? This free tool lets you do just that.
A free program, Biennesoft’s YouTube Downloader lets you save YouTube videos to do with it what you will. First, download and extract the small 3.39 MB file. Then cut and paste the URL to a favourite YouTube video (such as my current fave, Travis Barker’s killer drumming session to Flo Rida’s Low). Select where on your hard drive to download the .FLV video file, and the program does the rest.
The second step is just as easy: select what kind of video file to convert it to for easy viewing. Choices include .MP4 for an iPhone, H.264 for a PSP or XVid AVI for a DVD, to name a few. Within seconds you’ll see the file on your hard drive, ready for sharing, burning or copying.

There is also ¸this site: http://www.videocodezone.com/conversion.php which converts from other websites like google, myspace or ifilm
