Available August 1, GOG.com, which stands for Good Old Games, will let PC gamers buy some of the finest computer games of all time, many of which can no longer be found in stores, and are guaranteed to work on current hardware (running Windows XP or Vista).

Available for $5.99 or $9.99, these DRM-free classics include Interplay’s Fallout and Freespace 2 and Codemasters’ Operation Flashpoint: Game of the Year Edition and TOCA Race Driver 3. According to the official GOG.com press release, negotiations are in progress with several other publishers to offer many beloved PC games from the ’80s, ’90s and ’00s.

Along with the online store, GOG.com will also include a community section housing forums, ratings, user reviews and commentary from some of the PC gaming industry’s veteran writers.

OK, so which classic PC game would YOU like to see available as an inexpensive digital download?:

* DOOM
* Full Throttle
* Return to Zork
* Duke Nukem 3D
* Descent
* Sam & Max Hit the Road
