A good soccer match is all about control, and Gameloft has taken this to heart with Real Soccer 2008, the first full 3D "footy" game with a dynamic camera system that helps you better see – and thus control – the action on the field.
Players can choose from more than 200 official teams (covering five leagues) and play against or beside officially licensed players including stars Robinho, Crouch and Cannavaro. Soak up the sweet kick, deke and head-butt moves, colourful graphics (including weather effects) and high-definition digitized sounds (such as familiar chants), while you tackle various modes including one that lets you relive and even change the greatest moments in soccer history.
A word of warning: you might look like a serious dweeb yelling "Goooaaaalll!" with your fist in the air — while in line at the bank.
