That video's a wonderful advertisement for *never* joining Facebook. Thank you for giving me validation on that decision.

Fantabuloussss, all the more reason why I quit Facebook years ago. Facebook has morphed into this perfect stalking machine for people who don't have a life, or on the other hand, people in desperate need of attention…only my humble opinion of course.

I think its very funny, but its not real life. and if you are smart about being on facebook, there is no reason not to enjoy it.

This Video is hilarious, and it does prove to show some of the downsides to facebook never the less i am still part of it and i do enjoy it. If you are safe in how you use it you never have to worry it is much better than myspace anyway.

that was an amazing video describing facebook to a "t".
Good job, guys. i was wondering how on earth do people have time for 800 – 900 friends and give each one good quality time. On top of it how come with this many friends aren"t be able to find a significant other than rather constantly "searching" for someone. Actually why are some of the people on facebook who are in a relationship still on the prowl and in search for someone else out there. So many "people/friends" yet people are still alone in their empty homes trying to connect with other "empty" people by msking almost anyone and everyone out there snywhere in the world believe that they are living the perfect live in order to attract others into their lives.

It is a fantasy world. I just left a women who destroyed a relationship and robbed her children of a good life for the search of fantasy. People who feel safe to sit in their homes and enter a world in search of meeting their own needs is pathetic. People need to be interactive on a social level. Hiding behind a computer screen for hours in search of thrills is damageing to thoes who care. I think there needs to be a "self help" group for thoes who are addicted. What a tangled web we weave once we practice to deceive.

What if someone broke into your house, stole your personal pictures, letters from your friends, family and lovers?

Recently, I could not log into my facebook. I found out it had been permately deleted. Contacts gone, applications gone, pictures gone and so forth.

I still am not sure if I was hacked or lost during Facebook's recent upgrades. Every contact I have made to them to inquiry about it gets me a return e-mail stating they have reset my password and to let them if there are any more problems.

I have explained to them the problem is that my profile was completly gone and still get the same reply. To me that is the same having my house broken into, calling the police and having them tell me they will let me go with a warning for speeding in my car.

Doesn't make scense but when you put portions of your life on a online site you are opening your door to millions of unknown people regardless of it's security features.

Good vid. I'm still on facebook. I made sure not to add friends I was never friends with or people I wouldn't look up again if I was in their town. Seems to keep it as it should be.

  • Gwen says:

No Facebook (or myspaz) for me. Who has time, really? Especially the people who have reams of friends. My 15 year old cousin has pages and pages of people added… ffs, I don't even *know* that many people, let alone have the time and ability to talk to every single one of them. She told me she only talks to less than half, too, and when I asked why she didn't just cut her list down she told me she didn't want people to think she was a loser. Srsly? It seems to me that fb is just another show-off tool for the masses. I'll stay "deactivated" for now, thanks. Believe it or not, there are other ways to find and/or keep in touch with friends from high school.

  • Citrusy says:

    LOL
As a thritysomething on Facebook, you can manage who and what you put on the site.
My motto is: If I wouldn't invite you into my house, like hell if I am adding you as a friend!

    Everything in moderation people!

  • Lola says:

    thats wicked funny! *poke*

  • Joanna says:

    daaaaaaaayymmn what a laugh

  • Olivia says:

Thank was definitely right-on. I never liked MySpace or Facebook (or any kind of online "social networking" in fact). I rarely/never even go on Instant Messaging – but that is a Godsend compared to those other sites.

What a waste of time, those sites. Completely pointless and useless. Sadly, I have an account but I barely log on.

  • Jen says:

    That was just priceless!!!!

  • Phelan Scanlon says:

Proper grammar and syntax please. It should be, "if Facebook WERE…" . When you use the conditional 'if' you must use the conditional form of the verb 'to be' which is "were". Otherwise the observations are very funny.

  • darryl says:

I hope your kidding about being that anal about the "was" vs "were" in the video title….because you're your not then that's just weak. Loosen up.
But yeah the video was great

  • Carrington-Leslie Montgomery says:

This is so funny! My boyfriend and I were in stitches when we watched this! This is what I need after work now! No more coffee to wake me up!
