Sony Ericsson crowns Canada’s ‘Next Top Mobile Phone Photographer’

Back in March, we told you about a contest called the "Next Top Mobile Phone Photographer," where Sony Ericsson Canada asked aspiring photographers to upload their most impressive camera phone photos and the best one would win a dream vacation worth $10,000. Want to know who the winner is?

The winning photo for Sony Ericsson’s "Next Top Mobile Phone Photographer" contest was taken by Snezhana Zahorulko of Burnaby, B.C. whose stunning photo of a child holding the sun (see here) beat out seven other semi-finalists.

Taken with the Sony Ericsson K850i Cyber-shot 5-megapixel camera phone, which she won in the first round of the contest, Shezhana’s shot earned her the $10,000 vacation, which she’ll use towards a trip across Europe.

"I was admiring the pretty view in Victoria and it just struck me," says Shezhana, on the photo’s inspiration.
