While it feels like it was yesterday, its been an entire year since we launched Sync, a little ‘ol blog devoted to celebrating and demystifying the wild, wonderful and weird world of technology. Happy birthday to us!
While it feels like it was yesterday, its been an entire year since we launched Sync, a little ‘ol blog devoted to celebrating and demystifying the wild, wonderful and weird world of technology. Happy birthday to us!
More importantly, since May 15, 2007, Sync has been a hot little forum for you, our valued reader, to share thousands of comments and rants amongst yourselves — something every blog author aspires to generate; we have a cool little community here. I want to personally thank all the Sync readers who took the time to share their thoughts in this space, and for those who stepped in to defend someone else’s opinion.
I also want to thank Sympatico / MSN for hosting this blog, fellow blogger and Sympatico / MSN editor Simon Cohen for his direction and professionalism, and to le grand fromage, Bell’s Jacques Toupin, for creating and supporting this resource for tech-loving (or hating) Canadians.
What a short strange trip its been. Here’s to another year, yo.

Whoa! Did I ever GOOF UP big time on this one, Fellas please accept my apologies for my late posting for such an important date.
One YEAR of excellent work from a couple of fine gentlemen is a milestone to celebrate and be proud of. My profound congratulations to our author and tech Check it outer guy, Hee,hee.
Have to say Marc, you've done some pretty impressive work over the past year. Spreading yourself thin at times and all the while keeping the composure of a professional and a gentleman. I wouldn't be honest if I was to say that I agreed with everything you would have written, but I admire you're frankness and honesty and that's what makes this blog fun. We've all been able to share our views and knowledge or opinions and all the while respecting what others had to say.
Another thing that's been fun to see is the time you take to answer folks questions, to some those answers are a helpful hand towards making computer use a pleasurable experience. A kind and valuable resource that some who have the impression of having achieved greatness no longer have the patience for. You've kept in touch with this and there we have the makings of an exceptionally fine blog and a class blog author.
I would also like to congratulate Simon Cohen who is another class professional in all of his talents, and also to all at Sympatico/MSN who've had hand at making this the interesting and fun blog that it is.
Happy Birthday to All and again please forgive my tardiness. Although medical reasons have kept me from being as regular as I would have liked to on the site, they have not kept me away entirely and I am always pleased to be here when I can. Thank You All for a Super First Year. Will without a doubt enjoy the Second even more!
