Dubbed the world’s largest and most advanced video search engine, blinkz is basically a gateway to find many millions of hours of searchable video, including content from more than 200 broadcast partners, private video libraries and commercial media giants.
Just for fun I typed my name in and found two-dozen interviews I’ve done on TV, half of which I forgot about. It also took less than a second to spit out all of the sites and begin playing a video in the preview window. Cool!
According to the company, blinkx uses a unique combination of patented conceptual search, speech recognition and video analysis software to accurately find online video.
Visitors can also create personal video playlists or build a customized Video Wall for MySpace page or blog.
